Es un tema dictada por dos maestros llamados Jesús. El libro de Eclesiástico es el único libro del antiguo que lleva la firma de su autor: Jesús Ben Sirá, es decir Jesús hijo de Sirá. La palabra hebreo “Ben”significa “hijo de” Pues la gente de Nazaret hubiera llamado a nuestro Señor, “Jesús Ben José”. EL HOMBRE ES UNA CRIATURA QUE SE OLVIDA.           La carta a los Hebreos hoy nos habla de la educación y la corrección. Si volvemos a la tradición milenaria del pensamiento  - tanto occidental como oriental- buscando los fundamentos de la pedagogía, veremos una afirmación breve y sencilla: El hombre es una criatura que se olvida.   What is a liberal?   Plato views the souls as having three powers:intellect, will and passions.  He uses the analogy of a chariot to explain.  The horses represent the concupiscent and irascible appetites - the passions.  The driver is the intellect, and the reins represent the will.  As long as the intellect controls the passions by means of the will the man goes well but when the passions dominate the intellect then there is trouble.  Spiritual combat is in part the battle between the sense appetites (also called affects or passions ) and the will directed by reason.  St. Ignatius wrote his Spiritual Exercises as a means "to conquer oneself, organize one's life without being moved by disordered affections" The traditional view is that one needs to control the passions by exerting the will so as to order oneself in line with the natural order of things.  The liberal on the other hand thinks that freedom is giving free rein to  the passions, the

En una conversación desagradable, escuché recientemente varios sofismas utilizados contra la Misa Tradicional (Misa de Juan XXIII): ■ que es una Misa ideológica, ■ que los que asisten son de la “extrema derecha” ■ y que es una misa “elitista”.           Pero me parece que más que argumentos bien pensado se trata de una serie de acusaciones a partir de diversos prejuicios sin peso real. Veamos… 1.    Una misa “ideológica”, sería aquella celebración en la que participan personas de una determinada ideología. Si asistir a Misa “Tradicional”, fuera fruto de una determinada ideología, sería reprobable, según nos dicen. Come ven, implícita o explícitamente están acusando a la Misa tradicional de ser  reprobable… 2.    Es una Misa asistida generalmente por católicos de la “extrema derecha”. La premisa oc ulta es que los católicos de la “extrema derecha” son un peligro y deben ser reprimidos. Luego la Misa tradicional se debe  reprimir... 3.    Es una Misa de una él
